Our Commitment

Vigil Medical LLC is committed to ensuring that the Vigil mobile application and this website are accessible to people with disabilities. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards and follow platform-specific accessibility guidelines for iOS (Apple Human Interface Guidelines) and Android (Material Design Accessibility).

Accessibility Features

We incorporate the following accessibility features across our mobile applications and website:

• Dynamic Type / Font Scaling: Support for system font size settings, allowing text to scale up to 200% without loss of functionality.
• High Contrast & Dark Mode: High-contrast colors designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (at least 4.5:1 for normal text).
• Screen Reader Support: Full compatibility with VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android). All interactive elements, buttons, and icons have descriptive accessibility labels.
• Sufficient Touch Targets: All interactive buttons and touch targets meet the minimum standard of 44x44 points (iOS) / 48x48 dp (Android).
• Color Independence: Information is never conveyed by color alone. Reminders and status indicators use text labels and distinct shapes alongside color.
• Reduced Motion: Respects the system "Reduce Motion" setting to minimize unnecessary animations for users prone to motion sickness.
