Delete Your Data From the App
Vigil Med keeps your medications, doses, vitals and journal entries on your device, not on our servers. How you remove them depends on whether you created an account:
- If you are signed in: open the profile menu from the avatar in the top corner of the app, tap Delete Account, and confirm. This permanently deletes your Vigil account and erases the medications, doses, vitals and journal entries held on that device.
- If you use Vigil Med without an account: nothing about you has ever left your device. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.
Request Deletion by Email
If you cannot open the app — you have changed phones, lost the device, or signed in with an account you no longer have access to — email us and we will delete the account for you.
If that button does not open your mail app, write to support@vigilmed.health and include the email address the account was created with. Sending from that address helps us verify the request faster. We reply to confirm, and complete verified requests within 30 days.
What is deleted: your account record — name, email address, profile photo URL, sign-in provider and account timestamps. Everything stored on your device is erased when you delete the account in the app or uninstall it.
What is kept: subscription and billing records are held in an append-only ledger for accounting and tax purposes. They record which plan was purchased and when; they are not linked to your medications or any health information. Google Play keeps its own record of any purchase, which you can review in your Google Play account.
